Both the 100 yard Rifle Range and the western portion of the Sporting Clay course are dangerously close to the Huron River increasing concerns about lead deposits. Pellets from the stations in this area and slugs from the Rifle and Pistol Range are imbedded in the soil just a few hundred feet from the river bank.
